Good news for all you Cash Strapped Gamers out there Midway’s once full price 2005 FPS shooter Area 51 is now totally free to everyone. Area 51 was released on multiple platforms during its release, PS2, Xbox and Windows PC’s and it was a remake of their 1995 light gun arcade game, obviously re-imagined for the 2005 FPS shooter crowd.
When released Area 51 garnered strong reviews getting above average scores on most reviews and was unfortunately eclipsed at the time by some very strong first person shooter competition. So if you managed to miss it first time round as many people did then now is a perfect time to give this quality FPS game a second chance, it was no slouch and had some great voice acting from David Duchovny who voiced the main character to Marilyn Manson and Powers Boothe.

‘Area 51 is the only action-packed 1st person shooter set in the U.S. governments most secret and secure military facility.
